Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

Kenna

Maid of Honor

Sister of the Bride. Kenna lives in New Hampshire with her cat (named “Possum”) where she is working toward earning a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. When she is not studying, Kenna likes to explore local independent coffeeshops and breweries and take short road trips to the coast. Her favorite cocktail is an elderflower gin & tonic. As the two oldest, Emery and Kenna often caused trouble together; they once convinced their younger brother, Michael, that his Hogwarts acceptance was en route. She also appreciates writing letters and has pen-pals in England and Ireland! Fun Fact: Kenna is on a mission to visit as many of the 90+ breweries in New Hampshire as possible. She has been to 8 so far (this bio is updated regularly by demand).

Devin

Best Man

Like a brother of the Groom. Devin met Brian in high school and, even though they are a couple of years apart, when they are together they both act like they’re twelve. After cycling through a few majors (much like Brian did) he ended up with an accounting degree (again, see any similarities?) and is currently an accountant. The similitude doesn’t stop there; they recently showed up to dinner together in the exact same pea coat and scarf. In his free time, Devin and his wife, Suzy, enjoy visiting every zoo they can find—they have been to thirty so far! Fun Fact: in relation to one of Devin and Brian’s biggest shared interests, it must be noted that Devin has the unique talent of being able to spell “race car” both forward and backward…AT THE SAME TIME.

Sydney

Maid of Honor

Sister of the Bride. She enjoys yoga, accessorizing her apartment with plants (they all have names!), and exploring her faith. She is working as a CNA at a long-term care facility while also balancing a difficult post-baccalaureate, pre-medical program at UNC Greensboro. And if she doesn’t seem busy enough, you can often find her upcycling old clothing finds into trendy outfits or refinishing furniture and other home décor. One of Emery’s favorite memories of Sydney—and arguably one of Sydney’s least favorite—is when Sydney forgot to pack a bathing suit for a family beach trip and had to wear Emery’s skin-tight, swim team one-piece suit the entire week. When asked about her fun fact, Sydney responded: “Giraffes don’t have vocal cords!” She also claims to be able to solve a Rubik’s Cube.

Paul

Groomsman

Like a brother of the Groom. It is not often that your first roommate in college is a good match, but TCNJ’s algorithm did a perfect job matching up Paul and Brian. They lived together every year of undergrad in some way, shape, or form. Paul—being the responsible adult that he is—graduated a semester early leaving Brian—being the procrastinator that he is—to fend for himself for two semesters. Paul is a chiropractor in NJ, where he lives with his wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Anna. One of Paul and Brian’s final college memories was the construction of a cardboard boat that sunk almost immediately due to ignoring the advice of their engineer. Fun Fact: Paul performed as a singing goose in his elementary school musical. Emery and Brian are hoping for a repeat production at the wedding!

Rebecca

Bridesmaid

Sister of the Groom. Rebecca and Brian are true New Jerseyians at heart. Growing up, they would play a game called “traffic jam” where they would line up all their matchbox cars and inch them forward one by one. In an effort to retain as much of her last name as possible, Rebecca met her husband, Gary Levendusky, after joining an all-men’s flag football league. Rebecca is a self-proclaimed “offbeat gal” who you can usually pick out of a crowd by her colorful hair, cat’s eye glasses, or stylish retro clothes and accessories. In her spare time, she enjoys researching, sampling, and blogging about natural beauty products. Fun Fact: Rebecca enjoys collecting earrings even though she doesn’t have her ears pierced.

Michael

Groomsman

Brother of the Bride. Michael recently moved to Ohio to attend the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology where he will graduate with certifications in both structural and pipe welding. When he is not fusing metals in class, Michael enjoys fishing, skeet shooting, and hanging out at the lake. What’s more, he can talk for hours about anything with a motor; he is ecstatic to have Brian joining the family because, as we all know, Brian knows everything about cars and Emery can barely change a tire. Michael was also the director of a rock wall and zip line at his summer camp, where he learned to embrace the art of wearing bucket hats. Fun Fact: Michael used to be a member of a surf team in Costa Rica!
