Trent Schutz and Bria Cross were both born and raised in Wheeling, WV but they had never crossed paths until the summer of 2016. The bride and grooms' story began when they first met that May. Bria had just graduated with her Master's of Education from WVU and her family held a graduation party for her and her sister, Erica, at their home. Eric, Trent's older brother, brought him to the graduation party. Trent and Bria were introduced to each other and later that day Trent sent Bria a message (which she still has) "apologizing" for his beer-pong win and asking to see her again soon. Because the bride was traveling for work during the summer, they had to wait. After spending time together at a WVU game in August, the two had their first official date at Friendship Park in Ohio on September 16. They have been together ever since! After almost three years of dating, Trent proposed on July 24th, on the porch of their brand new home in Rayland, Ohio. Bria said "Yes!" and the two will say "I Do" on June 27, 2020.
