As the rambunctious middle child in the family, she says what everyone else is thinking. Find Mama Lopez constantly saying, "Ay Debbie". She is the family comedian, nurse, troublemaker, but most of all my confidante. Life is more fun and easier with Debbie by your side. She is loyal, always makes you laugh ,brings you up when you are down, and knows how to have a good time. As my younger sister, we didn't always get along. Just ask her how mean I was when I babysat her :$. But as we got older, I realized she is wise beyond her years, humble and just the best sister anyone could ask for.

Missy and I met in 2005 at a fraternity party and let's just say it was love at first sight. Soon after she joined my sorority. We became roommate's my Graduate year of college. In 19 years of friendship, we have gone thru a lot of growing up together, but no matter what she always stood by my side. Missy was always someone I admired for her sweet nature, kindness, and thoughtfulness. Although she is younger than me, she taught me a lot about life. Her love and zest for life, food and travel rubbed off on me. You can thank Missy for making me a Foodie. She is truly one of a kind and I am lucky to have her as my best friend and MOH.

Dana and I met in 2004 while rushing the same sorority, ZTA. The definition of a Jersey Italian, Dana is assertive, smart, and fiercely loyal. I always said she came in like a wrecking ball when she moved into my dorm room Sophomore year. It was inevitable however, we were always going to end up being best friends. She is the friend I always call when I need the hard truth or if I need to bury a body. She is loving, dependable, and has a level head on her shoulders. Dana always encouraged me to advocate for myself and live my truth. She has at times believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. A great cook and Mama of 2 lovely daughters, one I call my Goddaughter.

My little sister and built in best friend. We are 12 years apart so I always felt very protective of her, like she was my own. She is sensitive, compassionate and silly. My mom's side kick and best friend. She has a strong faith in God and a passion for the special needs children she works with. I know she loves me soo much because she will always be down to try new adventures with me even when she hates them (aka scootering, hiking and yoga) IYKYK Sharon keeps life interesting and unpredictable like any little sibling would. She is a blessing in our family with her nurturing demeanor. She loves hard and rides hard for those in her life.

Stephanie and I met in 2019 as part of the Bachelorette Group. She was the gracious hostess of a group of ladies who religiously met on Tuesday nights to watch The Bachelor, have wine and cheese, and catch up on all things life. Heartbreak brought us together but her genuine heart and friendship made us best friends. Stephanie is bold, inspiring, and unwavering. She is the the true definition of a boss babe. Always at the ready to go after what she wants and pursue all things with passion. She is the friend I needed and yearned for when I had no one in Charlotte.

Alice and I met in 2019 as part of a social theater club in Charlotte. We were introduced by her cousin Thomas and her infectious bubbly personality made us instantly hit it off. She is fun, witty and thoughtful. Always going above and beyond for the people in her life. Just take my engagement for instance; she worked behind the scenes with Brett helping him plan a very detailed engagement surprise. A true Southern Belle and our group's most social butterfly. Alice keeps it fun and lively. She brought laughter, support, and unforgettable memories to a very trying time in my life. As the southerners would say, I am blessed to have her in my life.

Maya and I met in 2011 thru a mutual friend. She is a vibrant, sassy soul with an unstoppable zest for life. Maya brings passion and joy to those she holds near to her heart. Our friendship was cemented at the Jersey Shore as roommates in 2012, where we partied the weekends away. It has only grown stronger through life's trials and triumphs. Maya started out as my party girl best friend But through the years she has provided much more than that. With her words of wisdom, support, and generosity. Maya is always ready for a good time but never loses sight of what's important: family, empowering others, and living life to the fullest.

Danielle is my longest standing friend for over 20 years. We met during the Disney College Program my Freshman year. Opinionated, fiercely loyal, and someone you can count on showing up when you need it most. She's always planning the next adventure and approaches life with boldness and certainty in who she is. A seasoned traveler with an eye for detail. Danielle has great sense of style and loves exploring new places and experiences. Although she does not express her feelings in words, her actions will always show you how much she cares. Our friendship has withstood the test of time, and I'm lucky to have her by my side.

Katelyn is Brett's younger, but smarter, sister. My soon to be sister-in-law; who I am lucky to be inheriting as a bonus sister. Katelyn is a kind and sweet soul with a passion for adventure and an unwavering commitment to helping others. Currently in the process of applying to Medical school and become the first Dr. Cockerham in the family! We could not be more proud. When Katelyn is not hitting the books, you can find her embracing the outdoors, hiking National Parks, or spending quality time with her family.

As a pediatric dentist, she brings her warmth and expertise to brighten the smiles of children every day. Her joy for life is infectious, whether she's traveling the world, dancing like no one is watching, or spending cherished moments with her family.
