We're Getting Married!

Brett and I are high school sweet hearts! Brett was two years older and I thought he was cute, but I didn’t think he noticed me. Brett apparently did notice me and was interest as well, so mutual friends set us up. After dating for about a year, we decided to split when Brett went to college. Years later, we reconnected at my sister’s baby gender reveal party and decided to go on a coffee date. We realized our feelings for each other never went away and we started dating again in November of 2017. We are so thankful that God brought us back together and that we get to spend the rest of our lives together! -Hope

After months of planning and prayer, the proposal was finally happening! Like a typical Sunday morning Hope thought we were heading to church. Little did she know I had planned the proposal at a rooftop in Dallas. As we had passed the Church, she suspected that something was going on. We pulled into a parking garage, rode up the elevator, and walked out on the balcony. First, I prayed for our future together and then I got down on one knee and popped the question! When she said YES, I had the greatest feeling of happiness and pure joy as we stood and enjoyed the view of the Dallas skyline. -Brett
