We're Getting Married!

7-18-21: Brittany comes across Brett's profile on Hinge and after some debate, sends him a "like." And good thing she did because they would discover later that Brett would have never come across Brittany's profile otherwise since she was outside of his location settings! 7-31-21: Brett takes Brittany for sushi at a revolving sushi bar for their first date. Brett embarrasses himself by manhandling the passing plates, but it broke the ice and dinner went well. They ended up back at his house sharing their first dance to "Purple Rain" in the living room. (Brittany would later find out that Brett is allergic to shellfish and therefore most sushi, but that's what she mentioned she was craving, so he made sure she got what she wanted!) 9-4-21: Brett makes a casual comment about wanting a girlfriend so he would have someone to play video games with. Of course Brittany was not going to let that slide without an explanation, so that night they became official. They have played video games together ever since. 11-28-21: Brittany says goodbye to her apartment in Long Beach and moves in with Brett. She brings along her two kitties and hopes for the best. Spoiler alert: Brett is now the world's best cat dad. 3-30-23: Brett and Brittany get their first apartment together. They are excited to continue their life together in their new home. 7-31-23: Brett proposes to Brittany in their cabana by the pool on their 2nd anniversary trip. They celebrate with the most amazing Beef Wellington at Hell's Kitchen. 10-12-24: Brett and Brittany get married!!
