Nathan and I have been together since high school. We met in 2014 and quickly became best friends and started dating soon after. My parents were very strict at first, but Nathan was so patient with the entire situation. After high school, I made the decision to go to school at the University of Missouri in Columbia (4 hours from Nathan!) and so began our long-distance relationship. We Facetimed basically every night and Nathan made the trip to see me every 2 weeks. It was hard not being able to see each other very often, but we came out the other side stronger in our relationship than ever. In the spring of my final year of undergrad, Nathan proposed! It was so perfect and I was so happy (see the photos tab at the top of the website for pictures). When I started veterinary school a few months later, Nathan decided to move down to Columbia to support me. We began searching for a place to live and Nathan moved down in November. Believe it or not, I was AT LEAST 100x more happy than when he proposed. Our three and a half years of long distance was finally over! We are currently living very happily with two amazing and adorable cats named Gibson and Maebri and are so excited to be taking the next step in our relationship and be getting married in a few months!
