Our 1st date was simple & easy at Mickey’s Diner in downtown St. Paul. I kissed her goodnight & after I remember walking home (I lived downtown at the time) thinking “wow this is actually something more” Something felt different. It felt good! As the months went on, things just kept getting better and my feelings for her continued to grow and I knew I had found my person…the love of my life. The one that makes me a better person/man. The one I wanna marry and spend the rest of my life with. Now 3 years later we are living together in our new home with our three beautiful kitties. When I got down on one knee after she got out of the shower and surprised the hell out of her to ask her to marry me was a special day but not as special as the day I get to look her dead in the eyes and tell her that I will love her for the rest of our lives - Brent Stariha
