What does an Orthodox Jewish wedding look like?
Answer
Our wedding may look a bit different than you're used to so here's what to expect: *Glatt Kosher catering (please do not bring in outside food or drinks to the wedding) *There will be a mechitzah (divider) for gender-separate dancing for the first 15 minutes *Fun traditions including the hora dance and the bride and groom being lifted in chairs *The wedding begins with the cocktail hour (tisch and bedeken) and then proceeds with the ceremony

What is the dress code?
Answer
The dress code for the wedding is COCKTAIL ATTIRE. Men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, and women are encouraged to wear a tea-length, mid-length or midi dress. Although the wedding will be traditional and some guests may want to wear modest attire, we invite you to dress however you feel most comfortable. Yarmulkes will be available for men that would like to wear one. The ceremony will take place outside so you may need a light jacket or sweater depending on the weather.

What is the policy on taking photos?
Answer
We kindly ask that during the ceremony you refrain from taking photos, however during the reception and cocktail hour you are more than welcome to snap some pictures! Any pictures you take, please send to codysydneywedding@gmail.com, we'd love to see them!
