Things To Do

Things to do while in Taormina: Stroll through the streets: The Corso Umberto is the main pedestrian-only street in Taormina. It stretches between two arched gateways: Porta Catania and Porta Messina. Along these charming streets, you'll find an array of souvenir shops, unique artisanal stores, fashion boutiques, as well as restaurants and cafes, providing ample opportunities for exploring all day. Whilst walking arch to arch, Corso Umberto will also take you to two of the prettiest spots in Taormina: Piazza IX Aprile | A great place to sit and have a drink. It is also home to the beautiful Chiesa di San Giuseppe. Duomo di Taormina | A small medieval church adjacent to a beautiful fountain outside in the Piazza Duomo. This is also a great spot to sit, rest and enjoy a drink.
