Brenna and Dyllan met at Wolf's Den Family Campground in East Haddam, CT. Dyllan and his family are seasonal campers. Brenna was invited up for the day to go wine and cider tasting by a mutual friend, Kadie. Kadie and her family tried their best to get Brenna and Dyllan close and talk to each other, but they hardly did... shocker! It was not until the next day that Dyllan messaged Brenna on Instagram and the rest is history.

Dyllan had the rings for months looking for the perfect moment. Brenna's mom, Rhonda, found a postponed concert date for Russell Dickerson. When this opportunity came Dyllan knew it would be the perfect time! The three of them drove down to NJ for the concert and waited for hours in the cold. Dyllan picked Brenna's favorite song, Yours, to get down on one knee on the middle of a crowd to ask her to marry him. To make this moment even more amazing, Russell Dickerson stopped the concert and pulled them to the front to announce their engagement and congratulate them. When Russel Dickerson asked Brenna, "What did you say?" She replied, "Hell ya!"
