Jax Beach (as called by the locals) was originally named Pablo Beach as early as 1906. At that time, the hard packed sand made it a popular area for auto racing and spectating. It wasn’t until 1925 the name was changed to Jacksonville Beach and the historic Casa Marina Hotel first open its doors.
Jax beach is approximately 45 minutes (30 mi) from the Jacksonville International Airport.
There are many hotels beachside along with Airbnb options. Below are two options where room blocks have been reserved. *If blocks are full, please contact Andrea Jackson, Mother of the Bride, to expand the blocks.
