One of Ireland's top golf course, providing a challenging course that is well maintained and beautiful. Bookings can be made via their website and it is recommend to book well in advance.
Kildare Village
Kildare Village shopping outlet is less than 30 minutes from Rathsallagh. A home to more than 100 boutiques of the world's best designers, as well as some Irish classics.
Wicklow Mountains
These mountains have some of the most breath-taking and rugged scenery in Ireland, and only a 20 min drive from Rathsallagh. Lugnaquilla mountain (3,039 feet), the second highest in Ireland is part of it, as is the Hollywood Glen which stretches for about 1.5 miles (2km) between Church Mountain (1,789 feet) and lesser hills to the west.
Glendalough
Glendalough (The Glen of the Two Lakes), a half hour drive away, is a valley celebrated equally for its beauty and for its historical and archaeological interest. The area also provides excellent rock-climbing, rough scrambling and ordinary hill walking. A visitor centre, located at the mouth of the valley, provides a unique opportunity to interpret the lives and time of the monks of Glendalough.
