We got engaged at the top of Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Our trip to Peru was an unforgettable experience! I was completely overwhelmed with how much I had going on in my life and the accomplishments I was working towards at the time and a trip to Peru was not a the top of my priority list. Kris kept on pushing for us to go on this trip and I caved. Since Covid 2020 happened, we were due for a trip out of the country. We had talked about marriage in the future, but I did not expect to be engaged until mid year of 2022. I was completely caught off guard! I can not wait until the day I can finally call him my husband. From the day we met as acquaintances nearly 7/8 years ago, I felt this spark. I always felt he was going to be my husband in another universe or lifetime. Years went by and I never felt a spark just from instantly meeting someone the way I felt with Kris. I started to believe that finding your true love was only in movies. I feel so lucky to have found someone who loves me the same way I love him.
