The link goes from the airport to downtown Seattle. Tickets cost $5 and you can catch the link at the airport by following the signs as you exit the airport. It goes all the way up past the University District. If you want to go to Pike Place, I recommend getting off at the West Lake station. If you get off at the Capitol Hill station, there are lot of really cool bars and restaurants.
This is where the space needle is + there lots of really cool museums! Make sure to check out the Chiluly Glass Museum, Museum of Pop Culture (MOPOP), and the Space Needle.
Even better views then the space needle and for half the price!
One of our favorite museums that is beautiful for a sunny day! The Chiluly glass museum is filled with a bunch of beautiful glass-blown sculptures. Highly recommend! It is also within the Seattle Center where the space needle is.
Want to learn about pop culture? They have a bunch of exhibits on different movies - highly recommend it! Also right by the Space Needle.
Have you ever been in a Seaplane? Highly recommend checking out this place! You can get a 40 minute flight for around $120 a person and get incredible views of the mountains, Seattle and the water!
Want something insta worthy? Rent a hot tub boat to go around Lake Union and see the city from the water!
Rent an electric boat on lake union during the day and take a dip on the lake or at night to watch the sunset! You can fit up to 10-12 people on a boat and bring your own food and beverages. Highly recommend this one!
Free to visit - old refinery converted to a park and has gorgeous views of downtown Seattle! Great photo area and you can even bring a blanket and snack for a picnic.
Free public beach overlooking the Olympic mountain range - the best sunsets in Seattle! Bring a blanket and relax on the beach, hunt for seashells, go swimming in the ocean and watch sailboats.
50+ mile bike trail that goes all through Seattle - rent bikes to ride around the whole city!
We went on our first date here and it's a staple in our book! Great italian food and craft cocktails + amazing wine selection. Even get it to go and take it to Gas Works Park which is walking distance from here!
Want to learn more about the history of Seattle and flying?
Want to extend your trip or want something to do on a day trip? Bainbridge is exactly that place. Take a ferry out of downtown Seattle (about 30 minute ferry ride) to go walk around cute little shops, go wine tasting, rent bikes to go to wineries and explore the many beaches on the island, or just stay in town and check out some of the amazing restaurants. Get amazing views on the ferries while coming back into Seattle!
Want to extend your trip a couple of days? Highly recommend the San Juan islands! Take a ferry into Friday Harbor to explore the San Juan Island. Rent mopeds and drive around the island up to Roche Harbor, a cute little town with cobblestone streets. Go to a lavender farm, pet alpacas, go whale watching (crabbing or fishing also available), or grab some food at one of the many restaurants. This area is known for their fresh oysters!
Want to extend your trip by a couple of days? Lake Chelan is one of our favorites! The 2nd deepest lake in the United States located in the middle of the mountains about a 3 hour drive from Seattle. Chelan and Manson are the two areas to stay. This area is known for its water activities, ample wineries, even the golf course (Gamble Sands) located closely to Chelan.
