We are FINALLY getting married!!!!! 🥳

We decided to finally take a big trip after being together for 4 and a half years. The choice was either Florida or Hawaii, and in these crazy times, we decided that Florida would be the better option, as a last minute trip! Daucett’s beautiful cousins, Shane and Presli, were our travel buddies and I am forever grateful and indebted to them for coming along on the adventure to Florida. Little did I know, they had been planning the engagement together, since May of 2022. At this point, I had lost all hope of an engagement and I was just along for the adventure. The first night there, all of my hopes of an engagement flew out the window after a conversation with Presli. We decided to go to the rooftop for drinks and dinner, and then after that, Daucett and I went to the beach to check it out. Nothing happened, no engagement, just a nice little moonlit walk. We woke up the next morning, we went to breakfast, got massages, and then went downtown to check out Miami. (I am still dreaming about the beach and downtown Miami. 😍) Little did I know, but Daucett and Shane were trading off the ring box between them all day, trying to decide on the perfect moment. I still can’t believe that I didn’t see them! We decided to go back to the hotel to go to the beach and get some drinks. We had a couple of drinks, enjoyed the beach some more, and went back to get one last drink so that we could go back to the beach and get some “sunset couple pictures”. Well this was weird to me because Daucett and I are not “picture people” we always go with the flow and forget to get pictures together. This time, he was adamant and I just figured that was due to the fact that we were in the most beautiful place in the world. I took a couple of pictures of Shane and Presli and even joked about how perfect of a place that it was for a proposal…… Little did I know, that’s EXACTLY what Daucett was about to do. (And he did it, it was spontaneous, SO incredibly beautiful, heartwarming, and the best day of my life.) We were posing for a picture, kissing for a picture, when all of a sudden, he reached into his pocket, got down on one knee, and I swear on everything I thought that he was playing the cruelest joke on me. That’s when I said “No, are you serious?!” HE WAS SERIOUS!!!!!!!!! As of that beautiful, INCREDIBLE moment, I am engaged to the love of my life, Daucett Keith, and I cannot wait to be Mrs. Keith!!!!!!!! 🥂🍾🎉🎈
