We’re getting married!

Austin & Bree actually met on tinder. They talked for about a month before setting their first date. Austin was going to meet Bree at the beach park in Edmonds, WA but Bree cancelled the first date last minute. In her defense it was her first tinder date she had ever been on and she was scared. A couple days later Bree reached back out to Austin and he reluctantly agreed to try again. He took her to Eagle Falls in Index, WA. He packed a small lunch and he brought her to the most gorgeous waterfall where they sat and talked for hours. They didn’t want it to end there, so they went to dinner. It was history from there!

Austin grew up in Northern Idaho and it is where he calls home. In September 2018, he brought Bree over for the first time to meet part of his family and show her the beautiful valley of Coeur d’ Alene. She instantly fell in love! They traveled back and forth quite frequently from the western part of Washington to Northern Idaho, and eventually they both decided that Idaho was where they wanted to be. In September of 2020 they made the big decision to move and start a new life! Finally in March of 2021 they were able to call Idaho home! The perfect place where they can do everything they love Hunt, Fish, Golf, and Ski/Snowboard.

While in Oregon visiting Austin’s family, Austin planned the perfect proposal. Which she almost blew, haha! Bree was out with Austin’s stepsisters at the grocery store and when they got back he was on the phone with her dad talking about the proposal and he had to avoid her so she did not hear anything. They planned a trip to the Oregon coast where they were able to walk out on the beach to a huge rock that was just breathtaking. Bree had spent a lot of her childhood/teenage years on the coast fishing with her dad. The coast is like a second home to her! It was pouring down rain when they first arrived, after waiting for it to lighten up a little the family took a short walk down to the water. They admired the view and the ocean when Austin came up behind Bree and put his arms around her, heart pounding and a few deep breaths later he was down on one knee asking her to be his forever! After all the excitement and some picture (of course) they walked back to the truck and Austin goes “I do have to tell you something that your not gonna be happy about..” Bree’s face went straight “what…”, she said. “Well your dad said no.” From a smile ear to ear Bree went emotionless. “Haha, just kidding! Your dad told me to tell you that!”
