Arches National Park
Arches National Park is located on the north side of Moab. It has a wide range of hikes ranging from easy to hard and amazing landscapes to view. Be aware that Arch's is implementing a reservation system during their peak season from May through October. Please purchase a reservation in advance (month of October reservation come up for sale on July 1st, 2023) if you are wanting to visit the park during your stay. Head over to their website to see details and directions on how to purchase a reservation ($2) which is good for a single day.
Canyonlands National Park
At the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park you will find deep sweeping canyons and the iconic Mesa Arch.
Dead Horse Point State Park
Dead Horse Point State Park is located just East of the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands. This park has a few hikes and great views of the canyons.
