If you don't count all the times Chloe and Brayden ran into each other before they became friends, the couple first met at a bible study hosted by their close friends (mentioned above). Chloe and Brayden always sit across from each other at the Monday night group, and are happy that their story starts surrounded by friends studying God's Word together.
Friendship began at Monday night group, but the romance began on Christmas Eve when Brayden waited for Chloe to be done working, and then offered to walk her to her car afterwards. The next time they saw each other was departure for Passion, a christian conference. Chloe didn't sleep for the entire 8 hour drive and probably talked for 7 of those hours. Brayden didn't mind. After Passion, Brayden texted Chloe with the infamous opening line that somehow reeled her in: "Sup bestie". They haven't gone a day without talking since.
Chloe confessed to Brayden early on that she had never drove on the interstate. She much preferred riding passenger to any interstate travels. Naturally, Brayden saw this an an opportunity to ask her on a date. For their first date, Brayden taught Chloe how to drive on the interstate, and took her to a "celebratory" dinner afterwards. Chloe is grateful he was so brave and wasn't afraid of her mediocre driving skills. Fun fact: for their second date, Brayden had a concussion and Chloe had to drive. Thank goodness for those first date driving lessons!
Chloe went to work on Monday thinking it was a typical day with regular meetings and even a regular video shoot scheduled at the end of the day. She didn't expect for her boyfriend to arrive at the office at 2:45 in a limo with roses and her favorite drink. Safe to say, she was surprised. There was no video shoot that day, she had no more meetings, everyone at the office knew she'd be getting picked up. The day continued with a stop by her house so she could change, and her room was decorated with more roses and the prettiest balloons (all set up by Brayden with the help of her mom, siblings, and roommate celeste). The next stop took them to Chloe's favorite place: Chick-fil-a. They received special curbside delivery, their meals hand delivered by Chloe's siblings and mom who was waiting there for them. After the snack, Chloe tried (and failed) to guess where they were heading next. The driver took them next to a small beach in Hayes, where Brayden took her hand and walked her to the sand. The beach was turned into the most picture perfect proposal spot. There, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She didn't hesitate to say yes. They were joined on the beach by their families where they took pictures and walked back to the neighborhood clubhouse to a surprise engagement party, with their Monday night group friends there to celebrate with them.
