We met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend, Blair Eby. I had just moved to Boise and began working at St Luke's in Meridian as a nurse with Blair. During casual conversation Blair asked if I was seeing anyone, and or looking to meet anyone new because she had a friend that she thought would be a good fit. I was hesitant at first, being shy and not really wanting to date anyone, but after a few days I agreed to let Blair give him my number. About a week later, Joe texted to introduce himself and asked me out to dinner to meet. We met on September 16th, 2017. We had the worst mac and cheese of our lives, lots of wine and a three hour conversation about Game of Thrones and our predictions of the show. The night ended and we were both intrigued and excited to meet again. After a few dates of getting to know each other and wondering where this was going, we had our first kiss and Joe being the gentleman that he is said to me "Things that start quickly end quickly and I don't want this to end" We both took that statement and decided to take things slow and not rush. We took the next few months really getting to know each other, slowly falling in love and building a relationship that we knew we wanted to last. After a year and a half of dating, meeting each others families and friends, moving in together and buying a puppy together, we couldn't be more sure and ready to spend our lives together. After nervously asking my dads permission, on January 23, 2019, Joe proposed with a beautiful diamond ring that was a family heirloom given to him by his dad. Being an old fashioned girl, I couldn't imagine a more special welcome into the DiGrazia family and am beyond honored to get to wear such a special ring. We couldn't be more excited and ready for this next chapter in our lives. We are so happy to get to share all of these memories with all of you!
