Alli and Brandon will be married in a private ceremony prior to the wedding celebration. We invite you to join us at our open house-style event to celebrate our marriage with us! Please come and go as you wish between 2 pm and 10 pm.
We kindly request that our guests dress in cocktail or garden attire (sundress or cocktail dress for women, buttondown long/short sleeve shirts with slacks/dress pants for men with dressy shoes). Ultimately, we want you to be comfortable, so use your best judgment! For women, keep in mind the event is outdoors so opt for sandals or wedges over heels.
Please park at, or rideshare to, Plainfield North High School. The parking lot we have reserved is directly north of the school's football field and is accessible from 248th Avenue. Signs will be placed at the parking lot entrance to direct you. A shuttle will be running all day to take you to and from the event. Please see the "Location" tab for additional details.
Yes!
As of now, we are not asking anyone to wear masks indoors or out, though this is subject to change following updates from the CDC and local guidelines. Vaccination is not required. Black surgical masks will be available for those who may want one.
There will be an open bar with a variety of drink options, including cocktails, beer, and wine. Soda, lemonade, and water will also be provided. Appetizers and snacks will be available throughout the day, and dinner will be served around 6 pm with a variety of dessert to follow.
There will be various vegetarian options, and one vegan option for dinner.
Please see the "Hotels and Car Rentals" tab on this website for a selection of hotels near our designated parking lot. A few car rental options have been provided for both O'Hare and Midway airports. Uber and Lyft drivers are also typically available within the area, but please ensure you properly communicate your dropoff location with your driver (see the "Location" tab for details).
We recognize that our wedding plans don't fit what is typical among most couples. We wanted to combine the benefits of having both an intimate and larger celebration in order to have the best of both worlds! We hope you'll join us in celebrating our marriage!
I'm still trying to figure it out. - Brandon
