We're Getting Married!

On a Tuesday morning in April, Kristin and her siblings met up to remember and celebrate their mother who passed away that exact day 10 years ago, and also discuss finding a car for Kristin. After hours of test driving, she found a suitable Hyundai that fit her needs perfectly. Her and her brother JT, went to the closest State Employees’ Credit Union to apply for a car loan. While sitting in the waiting area, a sharp dressed man in a suit and bowtie approached them and took them to his office. This dapper man was Brandon. For him it was just another day at the office where some folks needed a loan...Or so he thought...As the conversations went on, Brandon started to feel a connection with Kristin. He loved her laugh, her personality, and her smile. He was also getting along with her brother JT, as they both figured out they were big soccer fans. An opening finally came when Kristin mentioned her car salesman having “sausage fingers” and that his fingers were swallowing up his wedding ring. This playful remark brought great laughter among them all and Brandon dared them to sneakily take pictures of these so-called “sausage fingers”. They took a business card and said they would e-mail him the pictures, but Brandon cleverly (or at least he thought) said that sending those pictures to his work e-mail could get him in trouble, so he wrote his personal cell phone number on the back of the business card and made sure he slid it to Kristin...not JT. He hoped she would text him later! Apparently, Kristin had no idea Brandon was flirting with her and only learned later on from JT, who was onto his intentions pretty quickly. Kristin took the business card and later on set up a date. The following Saturday after eating mexican food, having good conversations, and watching Moana, they knew they had found something special. They'v seen each other every week since and are making their relationship officially, official, by getting hitched!

Last November, while on vacation, Kristin, Brandon, Kimy (Kristin's sister), and Nyle (Kimy's boyfriend), were hanging out on the sands at Myrtle Beach, SC. It is a known fact that Brandon is an expert shark's tooth hunter and was able to teach Kristin his skilled ways. After finding a couple teeth and not having much luck for a while, Brandon was crouched down by some shells and yelled, "Kristin! Come over here, I found a HUGE shark's tooth." Kristin ran over to him and as she got close, Brandon turned around on one knee and revealed a beautiful diamond ring! Kristin was beyond shocked and was so giddy with excitement that she couldn't even think straight! Obviously she said YES when he asked her to make him the happiest man in the world and marry him!!
