'Twas the peak of the pandemic - all nonessential businesses closed, no toilet paper on the shelves, and rubber gloves an outfit essential. But the "6 feet rule" and "social distancing" did not stop this relationship from blooming. Brandon put good ole modern technology to use and made the most important right swipe of his life. Just like that life in the Q became just a tad bit more exciting with days filled with getting to know one another. Brandon, a COVID-19 rule breaker, fled Chicago to return to his alma mater state to visit some friends. Well it just so happened that Taylor was also in Arizona quarantining with her family at her parents snowbird home. Taylor after careful consideration snuck out of her parents house like the good ole fashioned high school days to meet Brandon at a party. With no Ubers due to COVID, Taylors kind brother Joe took a break from his birthday celebrations to chauffeur. While on their journey, Joe noticed how nervous Taylor was and pulled over so she could chug some homemade limoncello (I mean she was meeting a random man from the internet, in a state she doesn’t live in, in the middle of a pandemic). Joe, being the kind soul that he was, waited outside the party until Taylor sent a thumbs up. Back in Chicago their relationship blossomed and they were finally able to go on their first real date at a restaurant - Renaldi’s Pizzeria (thanks COVID). But Scottsdale, will forever be an incredibly important part of their relationship. It’s where they first met, where they became official on vacation, where they bought their first home, where they got engaged, and now where they’re getting married!
