How did the couple meet?

Answer

We met at a get-together hosted by mutual friends in 2014. Even though we had attended the same high school (one grade apart, different activities, very large student population), we never crossed paths. Some of our friends picked up on our connection at the party and helped us get back in touch afterwards. The rest is history... We've been together ever since!

What is the couple's idea of a perfect date in Pittsburgh?

Answer

To start, we'd sleep in and then enjoy a walk through Mellon or Schenley Park. We'd have brunch at The Commoner downtown before catching a matinee for a ballet or musical at the Benedum Center. We'd finish the day with an Italian dinner at Girasole in Shadyside and a movie at home with candy and popcorn.

Answer

She will ensure the caterer is aware and can craft a meal that is good for you (and delicious!).

What should I wear for the dress code of 'cocktail or nicer'?

Answer

Cocktail attire is a balance between formal and casual and elegant and comfortable. Men typically wear a suit and tie while women wear a cocktail dress. However, guests should also feel comfortable to dress up further, if they wish, with more formal wear or gowns.
