Matron of Honor
Gillian and Liz met a short 18 months after Liz was born and have been close ever since. Throughout their years of sisterhood, Gillian has constantly impressed Liz with her empathy, sense of humor, and creativity, not to mention her crazy good vocal skills. Some of Liz's best memories of Gillian include puzzling for hours on end, attempting to make the best peach-themed dessert, and dying in hot yoga classes together. Liz can't wait to have Gillian at her side on her big day as her official Matron of Honor.
Benjamin Tritle
Best Man
Along with Brandon, Ben represents the other half of the duo of perfect offspring begotten by John and Madonna Tritle. They were fortunate parents indeed as Ben and Brandon never fought or argued while growing up. Indeed, they certainly never broke anything around the house during their civilized disagreements. Ben's notable accomplishments include being over six feet tall, never ending a sentence in a preposition, and being allergic to hazelnuts. Brandon and Liz are excited to celebrate with Ben as their best man. His Interventional Radiology training will make him well suited to stand in one place for an extended period of time.
Abby Vice
Officiant
Abby is one of Liz's unofficial sisters and official best friend. Abby and Liz met during their time at the Madeleine Choir School where Liz was impressed that Abby read all the same books she did and they both discovered their fascination with astrology and passion for romance novels. Liz has had some of her best memories with Abby including the time they bought matching bavarian style hats in Germany, survived an earthquake in San Diego, and jumped into the Fairy Pools on the Isle of Skye in the middle of October in the rain. Liz and Brandon feel honored to have Abby as their official officiant, not only because of her mad public speaking skills, but because of her friendship with the bride and groom.
Lucy Bennett
Flower Girl
Lucy is Liz's goddaughter and child of her other unofficial sister and best friend Colleen. Lucy and Liz have many fond memories together, like the time Liz dressed as the main character from the movie "Tangled" for Lucy's princess themed birthday, lots of time spent working on Lucy's (and Liz's) dance moves, and Lucy and her brother Patrick ganging up on Liz during bouncy house and trampoline outings. Lucy is not only an experienced flower girl, she also likes books more than Liz and looks fabulous in dresses. Liz and Brandon can't wait to have Lucy as the official wedding flower girl.
Frodo Tritle
Ring Bearer
Frodo is Brandon and Liz's pandemic pup. She is a half lab, half rotterweiler who loves treats, chasing her ball, chomps, and new toys. Brandon felt that Frodo was the perfect name for his first born. Liz is totally team dog, but mostly team girl-dog which is why Liz and Brandon now have a girl-dog named Frodo. Frodo is looking forward to the treats that will be included while she is on duty as official ring bearer of the wedding.
