FAQs

Do I have to be gay to attend a gay wedding? - No. Do I have to be Mexican to attend a wedding in Mexico? - Also, no.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No shoes on the beach for the ceremony, but the cocktail hour and dinner/ dancing will be on wood flooring, so please have shoes with you to put on. We can store them at our tables in Las Olas if needed during the ceremony - No specific dress code otherwise, but we want everyone in fun/ comfortable clothes! Check out Excellence website for restaurant dress codes for the rest of the week/ weekend.. Different requirements depending where you book your other meals

Question

Can I make music requests?

Answer

YES - Send us some songs you'd love to hear!

Question

Do I need to bring cash?

Answer

The only times I've wanted cash with me when at an all-inclusive is if I'm out on an excursion and want to buy something at a shop or to tip the excursion coordinators or the resort staff. If you plan to book an excursion while there, you'll probably want some cash with you. Based on our experience at all-inclusives, tipping is definitely NOT required, but if one of the resort employees seems to be crushing it, we'll definitely make sure they get something extra. I'm attaching a blog post from the Excellence website for your reference.. https://www.excellenceresorts.com/blog/are-tips-included-at-an-all-inclusive-resort/
