I met my bestie when we were in middle school! She was the new girl from New York! We became closer through a mutual friend and ever since then the rest has been history. Friend bestie sister twin Amani is all those and so much more. Over the years we learned the true meaning of friendship and I am completely honored to stand by her side as she marries her man of her dreams.

Brandon and I first crossed paths in 2007 in the halls of Dinwiddie High School. Our friendship became stronger as we played on the football team together (we both rode the bench our junior year so we had plenty of time to talk). Over the next 14 years we've stayed connected and developed more of a brotherhood than a friendship.

I met Amani in the second grade, walked right up to her and asked if she wanted to be my friend. She even remembers what I was wearing. Well, we have been friends ever since. Over 20 years, each of us moving to different states, but the friendship that turned into family is still going strong.

Amani & I met at Georgia Southern University while joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. As time passed, my Soror became my sister. From family vacations to Sunday brunches, we have grown closer each and every year. I’m so honored to be by her side as she marries the love of her life!
