The Artist and the Engineer It all began on a warm summer’s day, which is an unusual temperature for the sweltering Houston heat. A young vivacious woman knocked on the door to the mad scientist’s house. “Hi,” he says. “I’m a full stack developer, front end and back,” all smug and sh*t. “Oh, like a flapjack stack? I love pancakes, but not too much. Sugar is poison. Anyway, I’m looking for my sister and brother. I hear they rent from you.” My sister came to the door, crying with joy as she embraced her favorite person in the world. My brother could hardly contain his tears of happiness! “Ok,” Janet said. “I’ll move back to Texas.” “How did you meet?” they ask. “She just showed up on my doorstep!”
