Hotel
Our favorite destination resort for sure & where we will be staying! It was just voted the #3 Resort in Northern California by Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. This is not only the place where we are having our wedding ceremony & reception but also the place we fell in love! We hope you can experience the magic of this resort, & we have blocked a total of 8 rooms - please let us know if you are wanting to stay here so we can make sure you get this reduced price! This hotel is regularly $990/night but we have a discounted room block for $495/night on Thursday & $695/night on Friday & Saturday. Please reach out to reservations@carnerosresort.com or call 707-299-4800 to confirm your hotel block under the Trachman/Vassella wedding!
Travel Note
There are many ways to get from San Francisco to Napa, which are 59 miles apart. These options range from shuttle services to trains to Uber rides to car rentals. All major airports offer car rental stations to help visitors get to the Napa Valley. You can get a rental car right now for roughly $150 for Friday to Sunday. Shuttle buses on a daily schedule are available through Evans Airport Shuttle to/from San Francisco Airport or Oakland Airport and the city of Napa (4075 Solano Ave). To access a schedule, contact Evans Transportation: (707) 255-1559. Evans Airport Shuttle also offers service direct to Napa hotels. The train takes longer to reach the destination but it very affordable! Each ticket is roughly $14.50 each way & takes 2 hours 35 minutes to 4 hours pending if you do amtrek vs regular train. https://www.wanderu.com/en-us/train/us-ca/san-francisco/us-ca/napa/ Download from the App Store or sign up with UBER or Lyft to request a ride. This is roughly $100 one-way.
Flight
We have seen many great flights on multiple airlines including American, Southwest, & United. We recommend flying into either San Francisco or Oakland, both being approximately 1 hour away from Napa, CA.
