Brandi started working at a new organization as a Senior Security Architect on October 31st, 2016. I (Brandi) had years of financial services experience and led a department of compliance and audit professionals but didn't have security experience. Zack came to our current company with an audit back ground. He went from performing our SOC reports to managing them. Zack realized I understood a lot about SOC assessments but very little about security controls. Given we could speak the same audit language, he started to help me navigate through the policy and process documents to understand my new roll. Overtime we started working closer and closer together. We make a great team both at work and in our personal lives. We always enjoy doing things together. Two years later, here we are! As happy as ever and planning our lives.
