There is so much fun to be had in Maine, and it combines so many things that both of us love, from good food, good scenery and hikes, beautiful national parks, to fun arts culture, great breweries, waterfront views, and tons of dog-friendly locations for Prince! We have loved our travels to Maine, so we wanted to pick a destination that we hope guests can take advantage of while they join us to celebrate our wedding and fall in love with Maine, too!
Our wedding and reception are semi-formal events - but we want you to be comfortable, first and foremost! Please note that the ceremony is going to be outdoors on the rooftop of Bayside Bowl - rain or shine unless there are safety concerns for being outside. Recommended attire: Men: Slacks, button down shirts, ties, blazers, etc. Women: dresses, slacks, jumpsuits, wedges, flats, etc.

Our wedding weekend is an adult-only event and we appreciate you making childcare arrangements in advance. Thank you for understanding! However, we are happy to coordinate with parents to plan for group sitters so that you can celebrate with us. Please reach out to us directly if you'd like to be connected to coordinate sitter arrangements.
We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you were given a plus one, that has been indicated on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding.
Please check out the Travel page for recommendations. We do not have a hotel block for guests, but there are a lot of accommodation options in Portland.
We hope you will be able to use rideshares to get to the venue, which is very central within Portland. Bayside Bowl has a lot adjacent to the building, as well as an overflow lot available at Gorham Savings Bank available after 6pm Monday – Friday and on weekends. This lot is located at 71 Marginal Way, Portland, ME 04101, which is just a 2-minute walk from the front door. Note: if you park in the spaces designated for AAA insurance, you will be towed.
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding and reception, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no” so we can plan accordingly.
With the ever-evolving guidance on COVID-19 and unpredictability of the virus, we do recommend that guests are fully vaccinated and test prior to attending the wedding and reception (simple antigen test). For the safety of others, if you are feeling ill or test COVID-positive, we ask that you do not attend the events. We encourage guests to take any precautions that they'd like (masks, social distancing), but are not making any of these precautions mandatory requirements.
We'll see! The post-ceremony reception will last until 11 PM, with an option to enjoy spots in downtown Portland with the happy couple afterwards!
