Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is available behind St. Bernard’s Church. Additional parking can be found at the Goodman Center Brassworks Building.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception where a cocktail hour will take place. A seated dinner and drinks will follow.

How close is the church to the reception venue?

Answer

St. Bernard Catholic Church and Goodman Community Center are 0.2 miles apart or a short 5 minute walk. Guests can park at either location. We suggest parking at St. Bernard’s and walking to the Goodman Community Center following the ceremony

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start to allow time for seating. Mass will begin promptly at 1:30

Will the cocktail hour immediately follow the ceremony?

Answer

The Goodman Community Center will be open for guests that wish to go directly from ceremony to reception. There will be approximately a half hour between the end of the ceremony and start of the cocktail hour. If you wish to walk around the beautiful Atwood neighborhood and enjoy the sights and scenes of Madison, please feel free!

My GPS says there are two St. Bernard’s in the greater Madison area, which one is it?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at St. Bernard Catholic Parish on the east side of Madison, WI in the Atwood neighborhood. Note that there are two St. Bernard Catholic Parishes in the greater Madison area, ensure that you are not en route to the St Bernard’s Church in Middleton, WI.
