Bradley and I met through a friend on a night out in Lansing in January of 2017. We had our "first dance" that night (though it looked a tiny bit different than our first dance as man & wife will look (hopefully) and have been together ever since. Olivia lived in a small studio apartment with her cat Alfie, and that following summer Bradley moved his toothbrush and pillow in and just never left! Since then, we've upgraded to a two bedroom (still small) apartment on Lake Lansing, made even smaller by the addition of our crazy but adorable dog, Augustus.

This was just a typical Friday for Olivia. She went to work, planned on having some friends visit for Cinco De Mayo the following day, and came home. When she got home, Bradley asked her to go for a walk.... even though it was overcast and cold. After a minimal (ish) amount of complaining on Olivia's end, she packed up Alfie in his backpack and we hit the Lake Lansing North trails. After about 2.5 miles, we took a break and sat on a bench where Bradley pulled a ring out of his pocket. Little did Olivia know, he had also planned a surprise engagement party at our favorite Detroit restaurant the following day with both of our families and a few close friends. It was the BEST weekend and one we will never forget!
