Mara is Hannah's best friend from college. Mara and Hannah were "rush crushes" from 2014 sorority recruitment at the University of Cincinnati and ended up being Big (Mara) and Little (Hannah) sisters! Though they had only spent a total of 1 year on campus together (which Mara and Hannah disagree on the exact amount of time to be fair), Mara and Hannah created a strong bond and love.

Grace is Hannah's older sister and longest companion. Though they were not twins, their grandma often made and purchased them matching outfits as though they were. Grace and Hannah are more like a pair of mis matched socks than a matching set but somehow they still work well together. Grace often brings balance to Hannah and has been a constant mentor in her life (even if Hannah didn't want a mentor at times). Hannah couldn't imagine a world where Grace was not there looking down on her (literally Hannah has never been near the same height as Grace) and being a true constant in her life.
Isabelle Farley

Isabelle is Hannah's younger sister. When Isabelle was born, Hannah was not the happiest about no longer being the baby (to be fair she was a month shy of 9 years old and was comfortable in her position). But once she was born, the family was complete. Watching Isabelle grow and experience things for the first time has been a point of pride and excitement for Hannah. She has grown into a wonderful young woman. Hannah is grateful for all she has brought to her life.
Dr. Ashley Ekmark

Dr. Ashley and Hannah met in 2019 in Fort Myers, FL when Ashley joined Chico's FAS. Being team members they worked closely and quickly became family. Between the brunch dates, teams messaging, and pool days Ashley became Hannah's best friend. Tom is actually the male version of Ashley. They are kind hearted, attentive, ADHD nerds that Hannah would not know what to do without.

Annie is Grace's wife and Hannah's sister-in-law. Annie is a bright, loving, engaging, and kind person. Annie has brought so much love and joy into the lives of all who have met her. There is not a better person that Hannah could have imagined for her sister. Hannah is the most grateful to have her in her family.

Nina was a classmate of Tom's. Knowing Hannah was missing her friends, Tom introduced them. Nina and Hannah met when taking the Arch Bishop of Ghana out to dinner with Tom. A casual meet-cute. Their shared humor and interest in astrology quickly made them close. Nina is like a little sister to Hannah and is so thankful she was brought into her life.

Rumors of Jesse's demise have been greatly exaggerated. He's a man who enjoys the finer things in life and knows those things are meant to be shared. Often, the finer things include bourbon, Korean BBQ, and Star Trek.

Chris and Tom met in 10th grade English class and became fast friends on the basis of being smug teenage know-it-alls. As adults, they are both smug attorney know-it-alls. Besides being Tom's oldest friend, Chris is a devoted husband and father, and also paints Warhammer figures.

Sam Clement is the bad influence that introduced Tom to D&D, Caribbean cruises, and other expensive hobbies. Although he pretends to be shy, Sam is always ready to answer the call to adventure. When not corrupting America's youth, Sam spends his time watching anime, brewing mead, and fixing Tom's PC.

Since finding his freedom, he has earned an M.D. and practiced medicine until discovering his true love was nuclear power. When not being pursued by the authorities, he paints Warhammer figures and hosts classy, vegan parties with his loving wife.
