Driving Your Own Car

🚗 Driving to Mexico 🚗 If you're comfortable, we highly recommend driving your own car into Mexico and carpooling with other guests! This is the cheapest and easiest option for transportation. The bride & groom will also be driving their car into Mexico. 📍 Distance: The wedding venue is approximately 1 hour (~36 miles) from the San Ysidro border in San Diego. 🧭 Directions: You can drive down to the border on the I-5 south. We recommend using Google Maps for directions to your lodging and/or the wedding venue. Scheduled Transportation

If you prefer arranged transportation from San Diego or the Tijuana International Airport to your lodging and/or the wedding venue, we recommend the options below. Please book transportation in advance for a stress-free experience. Discuss the best pickup spot directly with the vendor. 🏨 Drop-off: You’ll be taken safely across the border to your hotel, Airbnb, or wedding venue (Villa del Paraíso). 🔄 Return: At the end of the weekend, the driver will pick you up from your original drop-off point and safely return you to San Diego or the Tijuana airport. You won’t need to leave the shuttle at the border. Steps to Book: Contact the vendors and provide the following details: 📝 Your name 💍 The bride and groom’s names, wedding date, and venue name (Villa del Paraíso) 👥 Number of people in your group The vendor will reply with more information and pricing. The service costs approximately $169 for a round trip across the border. However, this is subject to change per vendor.

Taxis & Ubers

🚕 Taxis There are always taxis available at the border to take you down the coast. On the day of the wedding, you can ask your hotel to help you get a taxi or contact our venue's preferred taxi service, Ignacio Taxis, at the number below. When you are ready to leave the wedding venue property, please call and arrange for a taxi to return to your hotel. Villa del Paraíso staff can also help you contact local taxis after the wedding is over. 📞 Ignacio Taxis: +52 (661) 112-7482 (contact on WhatsApp) 🚫 Uber Uber can only go one way from the US/Mexico border to Villa del Paraíso or hotels near the venue. There is no Uber service on or near the venue property, so you will not be able to call an Uber back to your hotel or the border. Because of this, taxis or driver services are recommended.

If you prefer to fly directly into Mexico, you can fly to Tijuana International Airport (TIJ). Please keep in mind that you may have a layover in one of these cities as these are the only two airports that offer direct flights to Tijuana International Airport (TIJ): 1️⃣ Phoenix, Arizona (PHX) 2️⃣ Las Vegas, Nevada (LAS) The airport is approximately 1 hour from the wedding venue.
