Bride
Changing last name to Koontz soon...
Groom
Brad #1 in the wedding
Maid of Honor
Sarah and Jordan have been friends since middle school. They were the kind of friends that could finish each others' sentences and would laugh at everything the other one said even if it wasn't funny. Sarah recently came back from Tanzania, Africa after volunteering through the Peace Corps. She will start graduate school in the fall for renewable energy engineering. Sarah is also very involved with Cross Fit and is a 1st-degree black belt.
Best Man
Brian is Brad's older brother. Yes there are TWO Koontz brothers, although this one is also taken ladies. He is engaged to his other half, Rachel Morningstar. Brian works as an electrician. He loves hunting, fishing, and seafood. Brian is basically a professional griller. (Wait, did someone say there is an older brother whose little brother is getting married before him??? Someone better bring a hog trough!)
Bridesmaid
Jordan met Kimber shortly after meeting Brad, and they became close fast. After six short months of knowing each other, Jordan ended up being a bridesmaid in her wedding. Now Kimber gets to be there for Jordan's big day too. Kimber is married to Brad Day and they have two beautiful daughters, Integra & Isabella. Jordan says that her favorite things about Kimber are her honestly and efficiency.
Groomsman
This is Brad #2 in the wedding. Brad is married to Kimber, who is one of Jordan's bridesmaids. This means that they will get a second chance to walk down the aisle together at the Koontz wedding. Brad works as a roofer in the area. He loves racing, hunting, and spending time with his wife and his little girls. Although he might not admit it, Brad's daughters have him wrapped around their little fingers.
Bridesmaid
Mikah is Jordan's cousin, but they have been like sisters in many ways. Since they share Hobson blood, they have a lot of crazy qualities in common. Between being loud, laughing a lot, and shopping too much, they always have a great time together. She recently graduated from UPJ with a Bachelor in Communications and works at Penn Highlands. The most important thing in Mikah's life is her family.
Groomsman
Tyler is one of a kind. If you have spent any time with him, you probably have some sort of crazy story to tell. From needing help fixing things to needing someone to test your dog's shock collar, this guy will do anything you need him to. Also, make sure to not have fireworks near this guy. Beneath all of the craziness is a really big heart. We may not share the same blood, but we might as well be family.
Bridesmaid
Caitlyn is Jordan's brother Levi's girlfriend of almost five years. Caitlyn has become very close to the Hobson family over the years and she has known Jordan through good times and bad. Caitlyn works as a Respiratory Therapist at Chambersburg Hospital where she saves lives on a regular basis. Caitlyn and Levi have a heart for traveling and recently traveled to Dubai for vacation. One of her hidden talents is being an incredible make up artist.
Groomsman
Levi is the bride's youngest brother, and he may be the craziest sibling. He is currently attending Saint Francis University for Physical Therapy. Levi picked up scuba diving as a hobby in college. He even studied abroad in Belize to expand his scuba skills. Levi participated in wrestling, football, and track while in high school. He even broke the school record for discus as one point. Levi is dating Caitlyn Ferguson.
Bridesmaid
Katie is Brad's sister and his youngest sibling. Although they haven't known each other long, Jordan is thrilled to have Katie as a sister-in-law in the near future. Katie went to Penn State and works as a civil engineer in Ohio. She is also a hunter, which is a pastime she shares with the bride. Brad, Jordan, Katie, and other family members are going on vacation to Pigeon Forge Tennessee in August.
Groomsman
This is Brad #3 in the wedding. This guy is just friends with everyone, this is the fourth wedding he has been in over the past year. Brad is engaged to Elizabeth Brown. The couple has 2 beautiful daughters, Gabby and Karissa. Brad works as a welder and he is a a handy-man in general. If you need someone to look at your car, he is the person to ask. This guy is always there to lighten the mood and will always lend a hand if you need anything.
Bridesmaid
Abby is Jordan's cousin, but seemed more like a sister when they were growing up. The two have attended almost every family event that has ever occurred on the Grasser side of the family. Jordan and Abby know the ins & outs of their family better than anyone. They have always spent Christmas Eve at their grandparents' house, but now they enjoy their new Christmas Eve tradition of singing karaoke until they lose their voices. Abby is pursuing her Doctorate of audiology at WVU.
Groomsman
Luke is the bride's younger brother, the middle child. I think he inherited more Grasser blood than Hobson blood. Luke recently graduated from UPJ and will be attending graduate school in the fall for physical therapy. Luke is an avid hunter and fisherman. Not only does he hunt wild game, but he also spends a great deal of time hunting arrowheads. Luke understands the value of patience, spending time outdoors, and putting his whole heart into everything he does.
Bridesmaid
Jordan met Rebecca during PA school at SFU. They even lived together for a semester. Throughout college, they shared lots of laughs, lots of tears, and lots of hours studying together. It was nice to have a friend who really understood how brutal the PA program was. Rebecca currently works in Dubois as an ear-nose-throat PA. Even though their lives are very busy, Rebecca and Jordan have managed to remain friends and spend time together post-graduation.
Groomsman
Byron and Brad are cousin's, although many people think they look like brothers. He works in the union with Brad as a pipefitter and recently completed his five-year apprenticeship. Byron is the father of a beautiful, ornery, little girl named Laura (AKA flower girl). He enjoys hunting and playing with Laura in his free time. Byron and Jordan were in the same grade in school and the same CCD class growing up.
Bridesmaid
Bridgit and Jordan were in the same grade in school, but officially met through softball when they were kids. The two played softball together until high school. Bridgit and Jordan also share the same career. Bridgit works as a PA at UPMC Altoona Hospital, specializing in palliative care. Bridgit is getting married to her fiance` Rodney in October, so if you get a chance, tell her congratulations too!
Groomsman
James and Brad have known each other for a long time. You may see him driving around Alum Bank in his black Dodge Challenger (he may be looking for a passenger if you know what I mean ladies wink wink). James is just one of those people who knows a little bit about everything, which is why you will never run out of things to talk about with him. He works as a mechanic in Chambersburg. His hidden talent is playing pool.
Flower Girl
Laura is the daughter of Byron Schreiber and Stacey O'brien. She enjoys jumping in mud puddles and playing games. Laura will be escorted up the aisle by Sammy Winegardner.
Ring Bearer
Sammy is the son of Kelly and Scott Winegardner. He is 3 years old and loves to play with his big brother Joey. Sammy may or may not prefer to be referred to as "Super Sammy." He will walk up the aisle with Laura Schreiber.
Mother of the Bride
Dawn is the mother of the bride and Jordan is her first baby to get married. She works for the Challenge Program and enjoys giving back to the young adults in our community. Jordan and Dawn have become best friends over the past several years. Dawn's kids are her pride and joy. Someone be sure to bring tissues to the wedding for this mama.
Father of the Bride
Walt is the father of the bride, who is his favorite (and only) daughter. He works as a civil engineer for Penn DOT. Walt has always enjoyed genealogy, playing sports, hunting, and spending time with his kids. He also enjoys sarcasm. When Brad asked Walt if he could marry Jordan, he said "yes please, you can take her off my hands."
Mother of the Groom
Tammy is the mother of the groom, and Brad is also her first baby to get married. She works as a nurse at Conemaugh Hospital and is nearing the end of her program to become a nurse practitioner. Tammy loves riding and spending time with her horses. She is married to Rick Schreiber.
Father of the Groom
Brian is the father of the groom. He has worked in the past as a farmer and currently works as a truck driver. Brian is on the road most of the time, but enjoys spending time at home when he gets the chance.
