We can't wait to celebrate with you

We had been working together for months at UNC Chapel Hill Emergency Department and hadn’t really spoken to each other aside from discussing patients on a few occasions. Finally, one day while working a slow shift together, we got to talking about all of our traveling and hiking adventures. We both immediately realized that we had so much in common and wanted to explore this further, but we had to move quick, because I was moving back to Canada in a few weeks. Some people would later take the credit for “setting us up”, however, it was really Matt’s insta DM that finally set the hook. We went for a run with Bali and Dex at Umstead on our first date, I mean, who wouldn’t fall in love with those two cuties?! We then had our first kiss on top of Pilot mountain after sharing a PB and honey sandwich that Matt prepared and packed. After that, the adventures were endless, from biking, to surfing, to hiking and traveling together, including two big moves across the country within the same year, but we wouldn’t change a thing!
