Welcome family and friends!

Growing up in the same church, our paths mindlessly crossed many times but our friendship began in 2011. One day after church , Ian overheard me (Ashley) complaining about how my mom was forcing me to go to camp willow run to be a chaperone for my baby sister. He then proceeded to clown me for it. This sparked our tradition of meeting up after church was over to talk and joke around. Every sunday leading up to the trip, he found a new way to make fun of me. While on the trip, we got to learn more about each other as we shared laughs while making smores at the campfire. At that time we were in "relationships" with other people and only forming a bond as friends. After the trip, I hit up a mutual friend of ours for Ian's number. Very quickly we started texting everyday and became best friends. Within the next year we got super close and realized we liked each other more than friends. Then on June 30th 2012, after family and friends day at church, Ian asked me to be his girlfriend. Little did we know, that decision would change our lives forever. Here we are 11 years later still laughing and joking like we're still kids as we build this beautiful life together.
