It’s the first night out of Senior year at Purdue University and two young singles are drawn to the campus bar, 308, for different reasons. Colin is attracted by the ongoing Taco Tuesday and Margarita deals. Anna arrives with eight of her sorority sisters to sing a Karaoke siren song. Colin approached Anna and asked if she wanted a Tuesday special margarita, free of charge. Her siren song worked. They spoke the rest of the night sharing common interests and eventually exchanged phone numbers. They texted for a few days but the communication did not last long. It is still up for discussion as to who ghosted who... A few months go by and Colin needs a date to his Fraternity formal dance in Louisville. He asks the assistance of his friend’s girlfriend at the time. Sure enough, his friend's girlfriend found him a date with a girl in her sorority. Numbers were exchanged and to Colin’s horror, he realized he already had messages from this mystery girl… ~~~RECORD SCRATCH~~~ Anna is looking for a free and fun weekend trip and asks her friend if her boyfriend has a fraternity brother that needs a date to their upcoming formal dance in Louisville. Sure enough, there was a quick match! She doesn’t totally remember why she already has texts from this person though. She has the tendency to hold her own and does not think this is a big enough deterrent to cancel her totally fun trip. ~~Record continues….. Sure enough, Anna & Colin went to the SAE Fraternity Formal in Louisville and not an awkward moment was had. They enjoyed mushroom appetizers at a fancy steak house (someone didn’t have enough money for a real meal) and made the same jokes at the same time - for this, Anna thought Colin was hilarious. After 48 non-stop hours together, they returned to West Lafayette and to Anna’s surprise, Colin wanted to keep the date going! They enjoyed “West World” back at Colin’s apartment, continuing the tradition every week and the rest is history.
