The ceremony will be outdoors and the cocktail hour and reception will be indoors.
There is plenty of free parking in the lot at Farmington Gardens, if the first lot fills up there is a second one in the back.
Unfortunately no. We did look into it to see if the hotel provided them, they do not. Good thing though is that the hotel is less than a mile away from the venue so its a very short drive. If you do not feel like driving, there is uber/lyft.
We're sorry as much as we would like to have more people, we are stuck with a strict budget (we are not daddy warbucks) so only the people that received an invitation can come.
If the children were a part of the initial invitation/rsvp guest list then yes, if not then we cannot accommodate them. Please find a sitter and enjoy a night out for yourself, you deserve it!
Drinks are on us tonight so enjoy! We do want to point out that just because it is open bar, that does not mean it is a house party. We want people to drink responsibly, be able to hold their liquor and act accordingly. This is a very important and special day for us, and we don't want it to get ruined by someone not handling their alcohol. We want everyone to have a good time and remember it!
We decided we pretty much already have everything we need/want since we have been living together for a while now. So in place of a registry/gifts, we would like to start a honeymoon fund. Of course if you find a gift that you really like and want to give to us, by all means either bring it to the reception or drop it off/mail it to our house.
The reception will end at 11pm. If anyone knows us, they know that we are going to want to keep the party going, so we are going to come up with a little after party at the hotel for whoever is staying. Details will follow.
All we ask is for during the ceremony, for those 30 minutes, no phones. We want just the photographer taking all the photos so there is no interruption, no one leaning out in the aisle or standing up in the way, no accidental phone ringing or flash going off etc. After that, during cocktail hour and reception take as many pictures, videos, selfies you want.
