WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

Sam is the outdoorsy type and since they've been together, Hannah's become quite outdoorsy too. We were on a trip in North Carolina that was originally supposed to be to celebrate Sam's birthday, but being the selfless man he is, he had other things in mind besides birthday celebrations (i.e. trying not to lose a diamond ring in pocket while hiking up an entire mountain)! Our first night there, we had decided to really rough it and backpacked up Black Balsam Knob (beautiful Mountain outside of Ashville, NC – google it!) and set up camp for the night. We had the whole dreamy mountaintop to ourselves, surrounded by wildflowers and clouds rolling by waist high. Sam had been here before and thought it was one of the most beautiful places he's ever visited. Once the sun started setting and our fire was built, Sam kept on saying how perfect it all was. Next thing, he got down on one knee and said, "It's the perfect place to ask you to marry me...." Hannah was so surprised and overjoyed. It could have been the oxygen deprivation, she actually thought she was dreaming, but she said YES!!
