Here are the precautions we will have in place for the wedding weekend to ensure that everyone is as safe as possible: We have significantly reduced the guest count to less than 50 people. Both events on Friday and Saturday will take place outdoors. On Saturday, ceremony seating will be properly spaced out. A.C. will be circulating throughout the tent during the reception. Masks will be provided to all guests in their welcome bags. Masks and gloves will be worn by all vendors at all times throughout the weekend. The reception on Saturday will be a seated/plated dinner with extra spacing between tables and all furniture throughout the tent. We have grouped dinner tables by household and family. All vendors will adhere to CDC guidelines, and servers will be designated to individual tables during the seated dinner. Hand sanitizer will be provided to each guest in their welcome bag, and sanitizing stations will be easily accessible throughout the evening.

The property was named after Mary Musgrove, a pioneer from the 1700s known as a cultural liaison between colonial and Native American societies, for her peacekeeping efforts, entrepreneurship, and land claims to the Sea Islands in Georgia. The name of the estate has become synonymous with thoughtful gatherings that discuss issues of topical interest and strategic, tactical and political importance. Musgrove Plantation is only open to the public one day out of the year. Read more about its history at www.musgrove.co/history
