We love to go to Wrightsville Beach. Our favorite spot is by the Crystal Pier. There is a parking lot nearby (to the left of Oceanic) and the pier there is free to walk on. Sundays Cafe (our favorite coffee shop) is right across the street!
This event is legendary and takes place all week. Check the website to find out what events are going on and where they are located. Some days there are parades, fireworks, and markets! See 'Travel' for parking information.
The 75th Street Fair will be April 8-10, 2022 and is presented by DGX. The Street Fair provides an array of shopping and food opportunities with over 250 Vendors along the streets of historic downtown. The Waterfront Street Fair will also feature plenty of entertainment with special areas such as the Children’s Area and the Piedmont Natural Gas Performing Arts Stage featuring multicultural and children's performances!
This walkway runs down the riverfront and is good for all ages to walk on. There are a multitude of restaraunts nearby to eat at. (Including the Copper Penny featured on Diners, Drive In, and Dives).
Walk down 2nd Street and Front St to enjoy a plethora of small shops and boutiques. On the south side is some of the best nightlife.
If you're in the mood for shopping, this is the place to go! Mayfaire has a mixture of mainstream stores (Gap, Lulu Lemon, Banana Republic, PacSun, etc.) and boutiques. They also have a movie theater and restaurants.
Carolina Beach is completely different from Wilmington. If you are looking for a boardwalk, lots of beach front shops, mini golf, and tourist shops, this is the beach! It's fun for all ages!

This coffee shop is our favorite on Wrightsville Beach. Get your coffee, take it to go, and walk down the pier right across the street. It's the best way to start your morning!

If Friends had a bar instead of a coffee shop, this would be it. Connected to this cozy bar (with an outside patio and fire pits) is a taco shop!
One of the best breakfast in town, if you're in the mood try a mimosa flight! they have amazing French toast and their specials change all the time.
