We’re getting married!

After matching and connecting through an online dating site, Dan finally asked Danielle out. A first date was arranged to go ziplining! To break the ice, Dan brought a rose for Danielle. He appeared nervous, but she couldn't tell if it was jitters from meeting her, or fear of ziplining through the canyons. Once they were done with their thrilling adventure zipping around, they had dinner at Las Margarita's. After leaving dinner they realized that they had even more in common than they thought...their parents lived within 5 miles of each other! Pulling off on the side of the road before parting ways, they enjoyed the evening getting to know one another under the bright, full supermoon near Live Oak Farm.

There were fireworks in the air, a bright-lit full moon with a gentle breeze blowing from the Atlantic Ocean, and a guiding beacon of light flashing every thirty seconds at the Bodie Island Lighthouse. Time was ticking away from this constant reminder that guides sailors through dangerous grounds and nerves building to ask a critical question—disguising the night as an opportunity to take some great pictures with a full moon at the lighthouse and enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the scenery. At approximately ten-thirty in the evening, the words started to flow from Dan's heart as he got down on bended knee and ultimately ended with a yes from Danielle!
