While you are on the island, you will want to visit any of LBI's beaches. Grab a beach chair and chill for an hour or the day! It still might be a little chilly so be sure to bring a blanket and a warm drink! But... it also might be hot! You never know in the Beach Haven Bubble! So either way, be prepared and wear your sunscreen!
A visit to Viking Village in Barnegat Light will take you back in time. Located on the northern tip of the island, there are a bunch of cute shops and with a little something for everyone.
Barnegat Lighthouse State Park is located at the northern tip of LBI. The lighthouse is commonly referred to as Ol' Barney and has been an island icon for over a hundred years. Visit the park's museum, walk the jetty, stick your toes in the tide pools, hike the (short) nature trail, or if you are feeling up to it, climb up to the top of Ol' Barney for an amazing view!
Bay Village lies in the heart of the downtown strip in Beach Haven. Here you will find a re-created a 19th century waterfront village with fun shopping, browsing, coffee, mini golf, eating and relishing in all things that are quintessential summertime activities (like fudge and clam chowder!).
