What currency can I use?

Colombian pesos are the national currency. Most places will accept card for payment, be aware of your bank's international fees if applicable. When dealing with mom and pop shops, taxis, street vendors and tips, you will need cash Colombian pesos. You can pre-order these from your bank for a seamless process. We recommend about $200 USD worth, but that is variable on your planned activities!
