Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is formal attire, which we feel will be the perfect match for our venue. We'd love to see our guests in polished, elegant outfits! For gentlemen: Dark suits with a tie or bow tie For ladies: A floor-length gown or elegant cocktail dress. Classic fabrics like satin or chiffon. As a reminder, our ceremony will be held in a church, so we kindly ask guests to dress appropriately out of respect for the setting. If you're wearing a dress, consider something with modest coverage (knee length or longer and maybe add a shawl if needed). That said, we know the black tie fashion offers many ways to celebrate in style. If you'd like, feel free to bring a second formal outfit to change into for the reception - whether it's a more playful gown, a statement look, or something that allows for easier movement on the dance floor. Feel free to reach out to Mariah (703-473-1559) if you have any questions on what to wear. Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors. We can't wait to celebrate with elegance and style!

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We want our wedding to be a special day shared with our closest friends and family, so we've kept our guest list intimate and aren't able to accommodate additional guests. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are planning to attend the church ceremony, please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.

Question

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

After the ceremony, there will be a break before cocktail hour begins, giving guests time to relax and prepare for the evening festivities. We encourage you to use this time to: - Check into your hotel if you haven't already. - Change outfits if you'd like a second formal look for the reception. - Grab a coffee or unwind before the celebration continues. - Make your way to the reception venue at your own pace. It's about a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from the church ceremony location.

Question

Will there be a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift! We are incredibly grateful to have our friends and family attend, especially ones who have traveled long ways to get to us. If you'd like to give a gift, we would truly appreciate a contribution to help us cover wedding expenses and start this next chapter a little stress-free. Thank you for your presence and generosity!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! An open bar will be available throughout the evening with a selection of cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
