Sam and Beth met back in 2016 working at the arcade together in high school! They became fast friends and have stayed close no matter how many miles there are between them. From trips to mexican restaurants, the mall, or just being the “passenger princess” in Sam’s car, Beth has always been there when needed the most. Every brunette needs her blonde best friend on her wedding day!

Hunter and Bryce have been best friends since kindergarten. From being on the playground, to tailgating in their college years, Bryce has been there through it all. Bryce is currently working in real estate, and is a fan of baseball and Star Wars. You’ll know it’ll be a party when he shows up!

Sam met Evan on her first day of her first job back in 2015. The first time they hung out outside of work, was actually a Cabell Midland football game where they pointed out the “guy in the red morph suit” (it was a halloween game) and that guy turned out to be Hunter! Evan is currently an RN, has a goofy golden doodle named Charlie, and is one of the most loyal people you’d ever meet. Another blonde best friend for the wedding party!
Eric Akers

Hunter met Eric back in his middle school years! As Hunter’s guitar teacher, mentor, and great friend, Eric has been there for it all. As of today, he’s still teaching middle school guitar and he loves traveling the country, wether with Hunter or his wife, Lorrie, at his side. We’re excited to have him with us for the big day!
Bailey Sanders

Sam and Bailey met in 2018, during a jazz gig her, Hunter, and Bailey’s fiancé (Hunter’s groomsman) Cody, were playing. Cody and Hunter may be best friends, but Sam and Bailey are just as close. Bailey currently teaches middle school music, has two cats, Marshmallow and Beans, and has the perfect meme for literally any occasion. She’s for sure the comedic relief for this wedding party!
Cody Henley

Hunter and Cody met in 2017 during their freshman year at Marshall University, in a saxophone quartet, and later studying for their Jazz Studies degree. Cody is DEFINITELY a one of a kind friend. If you ever feel like playing jazz in the parking garage, he’s the one to call! Cody is currently a welding student, plays saxophone, and has two cats with his fiancé (and bridesmaid) Bailey. He’s this wedding party’s designated DND dungeon master!
Paige Cruikshank

Sam and Paige met in 2021, working together as ultrasound techs. They for sure bonded over their love of all things nerdy. Paige is someone you can always count on to be there and offer a shoulder to cry on. She also has a dog named Charlie, and two cats, Jelly Bean and Hera. Paige is an amazing cook and one of the best plant moms out there! Another blonde to add to the party!
Randall Miller

Hunter and Randall met back in their college years at Marshall University while in a saxophone quartet together. He’s currently a high school band director and certainly knows how to throw a good party!
Baylee Adkins

With too many people in Sam’s life named “Bailey”, she has been fondly dubbed “Cousin Baylee”. Baylee is currently working as a medical assistant, and is an avid lover of hippos, movies, and spaghetti. She has a cat named Kitty, and spends a lot of her time with Sam in the car singing along to Taylor Swift. Growing up, Baylee and Sam spent a lot of weekends with their Papa Doug going to the movies, baking cookies, and shopping trips for Dollar Tree grab bags. Give it up for Cousin Baylee!

Seth and Hunter met in marching band during their high school years, bonding over their love of video games and WVU football. If we need a Wii U at this wedding, he’s our guy!
Talia Alexander

Sam and Talia met in 2018, working at the movie theater together (cousin Baylee was there too!). It felt like they instantly bonded over silly customers at work and constant vine references. Talia currently has her bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics from West Virginia University and in Statistics from Marshall University, has a dog named Cooper, and is a huge fan of Studio Ghibli (My Neighbor Totoro, to be specific). We can’t wait to have her with us on our big day!

Nathan and Hunter met all the way back in elementary school, then spending their high school years in band. He’s currently a civil engineer and has a love for board games. We can’t wait to party with him!
Michaela Ramsey

Michaela and Sam met in 2016 working at the arcade. If Sam ever had a (mechanical or emotional) problem, she was always there to try and fix it. With her easygoing personality, she’s definitely one of the most loyal people you’d ever meet. Michaela currently works at Alcon, is a huge Star Wars fan, and has the worst luck with cars imaginable. She has always been there to pick up Sam when she’s down, and we can’t wait for her to celebrate one of life’s happiest times with us!

Along with Nathan, Hunter and Griff met in elementary school, bonding over sports, video games, and playing guitar. They went on to attend WVU together. He loves to play basketball and partake in fantasy football. We can’t wait to have him celebrate with us!

Summer is Sam’s 16 year old sister. These two definitely butt heads growing up, but have become incredibly close. Summer is currently a junior in high school and has a love for zoology, mythology, and reading in her free time. She likes to go on motorcycle rides with their dad and taking trips to the bookstore with her sister. Summer is one to speak her mind and if she has an opinion, you’re going to hear it! Don’t forget, “you can go to a wedding, but take your sister with you.”
Derek Morris

Derek may be Sam’s cousin, but he may as well be her older brother. Childhood had them going to school together, riding the bus home to their Nana’s, then playing basketball in the driveway. Sam definitely picked up her love of video games and Pokémon from him. Derek is currently working as an RN, has a wife named Emma and daughter named Callie, and two dogs. We couldn’t imagine our wedding day without him!
Pepper Bailey

Sam and Braylon’s mom! She’s been a phlebotomist for the past 26 years, loves flamingos, and is definitely not a “regular mom” but a “cool mom” with her amazing fashion sense. She’s also quite the pet mom, with three cats named PJ, Tigger, and Sage, and dog JJ. And before you ask, yes Pepper is her real name!

Sam and Summer’s dad! He’s been a welding teacher for 15 years, but has a pretty impressive work history, including being a volunteer firefighter. He loves to ride his motorcycle, taking on new DIY projects, and rebuilding cars. With his goofy personality, he’ll make sure everyone has a good time at this wedding!

Hunter’s mom! Stephanie currently works in the science building at Marshall University, but previously worked at the Cabell County courthouse. Growing up, Stephanie loved playing volleyball! She’s the ultimate pet mom and her favorite movie is “Pretty Woman”. Stephanie always like to be prepared, so she’ll for sure be the one to help make sure things are running smoothly on the big day!
Darrell Blankenship

Hunter’s dad! Darrell is currently working as a welder. He’s the ultimate fan of sports, and was Hunter, Griff, and Bryce’s little league baseball coach when they were growing up! He also loves to attend car shows and dirt track races. We can’t wait to celebrate with him!
Braylon Bailey

Sam’s little brother! Braylon is 15 years old and a freshman in high school. He spends a lot of his free time playing Fortnite with his friends and making videos. You can always catch him with a bowl of popcorn or a gaming controller. When not playing video games, you can always catch him at the pool! Though he can be shy, we’re excited to have him be a part of our big day!

Lillian Brooke is a very energetic 7 year old! Her favorite activities include cheerleading and basketball. She also loves playing Roblox and spending time with her brother, Easton, and parents Karli and Josh. We can’t wait to see her rock her way down the aisle!
