How early should I arrive?

Answer

We ask you please do not arrive more than 30 minutes before the ceremony time (3:30pm).

Are there any specific cultural or religious customs I should be aware of?

Answer

Blake & Shea hold Jesus Christ and Christianity very close in their hearts. Our ceremony and reception will uphold Christian values to the highest degree. But don't worry, even Jesus liked to have fun. Fun fact: Jesus's first miracle was turning water into wine at the wedding of Cana in Galilee!

The RSVP deadline is August 5th, 2023.

Can I bring my kids to the wedding?

Answer

While we tried to include entire families, due to budget, room capacity, only persons specified on the invitation are allowed.

Answer

While we tried to include everyone, due to budget, room capacity, only persons specified on the invitation are allowed. If your envelope indicates so, you may bring a guest.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception have free parking. We ask you please park on the lower level of Eastview Christian Church and the conference center parking lot at the Double Tree.

When is the deadline to reserve a hotel room?

Answer

The deadline is October 1st, 2023 at 11:59PM.

Can I bring my own alcohol or beverages?

Answer

No, this is prohibited per DoubleTree & Eastview policies. There will be no alcohol during our ceremony. Alcoholic beverages will be offered to enjoy at our cocktail hour and reception.

Are there any specific gift-giving or monetary expectations?

Answer

No. While we have a gift registry, there are no expectations other than helping make our special day one to remember.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free meal options?

Answer

Plan accordingly for specific food allergens or preferences.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at both Target and Amazon. This information is included on the “Registry” tab on our website.
