Our first date was at Hop Garden brewery in Sacramento, California. We shared a buffalo chicken pizza and a beer, where we later learned and always laugh about how we both thought the pizza was too spicy but didn't want to say anything to each other. We both didn’t want the night to end so we went to Gunther’s ice cream and talked until midnight and it’s been that way ever since!

On Saturday September 2, 2023 Megan thought we were just playing a fun competitive scramble, little did she know there was a bigger plan! On the 18th hole, when Megan went to finish the last putt, she noticed something in the hole. After going over and pulling the box out of the hole she looked at me completely surprised asking what is this, and then I proceeded to ask her to marry me in the most special way for both of us. Blake had asked his mom, dad, and sister to come up for the weekend. We were surrounded by family and friends for the most special moment of our lives!
