We're getting married!

We met through a mutual friend, Nick's former coworker and my former roommate and best friend (thank you Beth!) and immediately hit it off. After a month of constant phone calls and text messages we went on our (debated) first date in downtown Ferndale. Shortly after, we made the relationship official on May 25th, 2022 and the rest is history!

Our first trip was to Frankenmuth in September of 2022. We ended up going back to go camping with our friends at Jellystone Campground to celebrate both of our birthdays (I had no clue I was soon to be engaged!) After a day of alligator nuggets, manicures for the ladies, and blacksmithing for the guys, all of mine and Nick's closest friends took a walk to the covered bridge where Nick was hiding. He had also hired a photographer that hid a little ways down the road to capture the perfect moment!
